Dedicated teams
Many outsourcing suppliers offer “dedicated teams”. What makes the difference between team and dedicated team? Ask this question to your supplier.
Good dedicated team is an integral part of your company. It works in outsourcing location, maybe geographically resides overseas far from you and it still works towards your goals and shares your values.
Your team should differ from other teams at outsourcing provider. When you come on-site to the team you should feel like you came to your own office. And if you feel like guest, that’s a signal that something goes not as good as it has to be.
Professional outsourcing providers know that it’s important to arrange dedicated team work at their own part of office space, decorate it with attributes of the Client Company – like flags and printed materials. Dedicated team should not dissolve in the big office of outsourcing company and must keep its own unique identity.
Having external attributes is good but not enough to make the team really dedicated. The team has to know and share goals and values of the Client Company. Each team member should feel him/herself involved into big process, moving to a goal, bringing value, rather when simply exchanging his time and expertise to certain amount of money.
Still some outsourcing companies consider things described above as magic and something that happens by luck. This is wrong of course, there is a spectrum of modern pragmatic approaches in the field of psychology and business management that rationalize instruments and make possible create and maintain stable and effective internal and external motivators within the team.
Even when few practices from described above get implemented in your team you will see the difference what really means when 1 + 1 = more than 2 in the team work.
