Call centers in Ukraine

Few comments about using outsourced call center services in Ukraine.

We’d like to say few words about using outsourced call center services in Ukraine being inspired by recent request from Microsoft for the list of such service providers in the neighbor Belarus.

First of all we’d mention that a number of call center service providers in Ukraine keeps growing. And it is still very far from reaching of its limit!

A growth of that business is based on two major reasons: good Internet and VoIP capabilities that keep getting better and better, faster and cheaper and big pool of foreign language speaking young people, recent university graduates.

There are data center companies that provide VoIP calls to land lines and mobile networks worldwide at a professional level and at very affordable prices. All you need is just an Internet connection with bandwidth enough for your voice traffic (which today is not a problem in all major Ukraine cities) and software communicator with headset. Hardware VoIP solutions based on Avaya or Cisco equipment are also very popular.

A resource pool for call centers consists mainly of young ladies of age 20-25 fluently speaking foreign languages. Primary language is English – the obvious reason of this is education. Overwhelming majority of educational institutions offer English as foreign language. German and French are also available, although less popular. West Ukraine has a lot of Polish speaking resources.

Ukrainians speak foreign languages with light “East European” accent which sounds pleasant and sometimes hm… sexy :-)

At the present time we recommend consider Ukraine call centers for landing phone calls coming from Europe and North America and also in case of demand of Russian or Ukrainian language capabilities.
